It’s great working with Mike and seeing his passion for designing and delivering quality websites. When it came time to redesign the GeneratePress site, we knew we had to have Mike involved.”
Tom Usborne – Founder at GeneratePress & GenerateBlocks
As a contributor to the GeneratePress demo site library as well as a huge advocate, I was extremely excited when I was asked to be a part of the redesign of the GeneratePress website.
The goal was to create a bold and fresh new design that respected the origin of GeneratePress as the original foundation theme, while demonstrating the latest features and that of its sister product GenerateBlocks.
I worked closely with the GeneratePress team to outline their website’s new direction and build a strategy for their redesign. I began by creating a set of custom icons and illustrations to emphasize all of the features of the latest version of GeneratePress and the newly launched GenerateBlocks.
Then I created multiple page design templates the team could easily work with to migrate the old website content into. Our collaboration resulted in a new website that is not only beautiful but performs incredibly well.
The website redesign was a big success, resulting in a faster block-based website that perfectly encapsulated the key benefits and features of GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks.
With a new design, amazing performance results and a streamlined checkout process, their website now reflects the capabilities and performance benefits of GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks.
